Principal's Corner

Dear Maxwell Families,

I’m honored to introduce myself as the Interim Principal of Maxwell Elementary/Middle School. Thank you for the warm welcome!

It’s a privilege to join a team that champions student excellence and truly lives our district motto: Together We Serve. Maxwell is known for its strong instructional practices and robust systems of academic and social-emotional support. As interim principal, I’m committed to sustaining these strengths and working alongside our staff to ensure every student engages in meaningful, enriching learning.

Over the past 21 years with DoDEA, I’ve served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, Social Studies ISS, interim principal, and most recently, as the Southeast District’s Accountability and Assessment Coordinator. My journey has taken me to Kaiserslautern and Stuttgart, Germany; the Kingdom of Bahrain; Okinawa, Japan; and Fort Benning, Georgia.

Working for DoDEA is more than a career, it’s a calling. As a military child, Air Force spouse, mother, and educator, I deeply understand the unique experiences of our students and families. My goal is to ensure every Maxwell family feels seen, supported, and valued as part of our school community.

Throughout September, I’ll host a series of “Meet & Greet” events to connect with families. I’m especially eager to meet our amazing students and learn more about the Maxwell community.

I look forward to partnering with you to support the success and well-being of every child.
